Barefoot Into the Corn Field #2

I used this subject/image for the artist’s trading card I sent to the Quilting Arts magazine.  It was so small – 2 to 3 inches (below)- that I wanted to make a bigger one and be able to include the sky and barn.  This image is about 5″ X 7″.  I also did not quilt it.  I affixed it to mat board with the embellishment mimicking corn tassels at the top and bottom, and put it in a frame.

About QuiltToonist

I'm a news junkie and have opinions about everything! I consider myself a folk artist because I have no formal art training and use the sewing skills I learned many moons ago to accomplish the fiber art I seem to have to express.
