Never a Bride …

Abandoned homes speak to me of lives forgotten.  What happened here?  I love the color of the shutters — that’s what first attracted me to take a photograph.  The drapes I saw through the living room window were so white and looked of good material — made me think of brides and weddings.

This piece is 12″ X 12.”   The photograph I took is printed on material.   Machine stitched borders, top-stitching and embroidery.

About QuiltToonist

I'm a news junkie and have opinions about everything! I consider myself a folk artist because I have no formal art training and use the sewing skills I learned many moons ago to accomplish the fiber art I seem to have to express.
