Two Photos on Display!

Happy to report two of my photos were selected to be in the International Quilt Festival “Eye of the Quilter:  Favorite Things 2012” exhibit  in Houston Nov. 1-4, 2012. The purpose of the exhibit was to display photos, taken by the quilter, that served as inspiration for a quilt or were part of a quilt…I sent in three and these two were selected to be shown.  I also included here the photo of the quilt, Lightning Bug Babies, that I made from the photo of two of my granddaughters that you see below.

About QuiltToonist

I'm a news junkie and have opinions about everything! I consider myself a folk artist because I have no formal art training and use the sewing skills I learned many moons ago to accomplish the fiber art I seem to have to express.
