This QuiltToon is a result of the “assignment” given to participants at a Fiber Artists group I’ve started attending. A technique, from artist Noriko Endo, of using fabric pieces secured under netting on a fabric backing was the assignment. So this is my creation. It was fun to do and I think I’ll use it again.
9″ X 8.5″. Machine top-stitched and quilted. Free motion thread painting.
Completed August 2013.
Wow I love it! Looks so real! Also so unique.

This one is gorgeous! I love the colors and the composition. The more you do this, the better you are getting in all aspects.

I have read about this but not tried it. It certainly works for this piece. Lovely. It looks like the leaves are falling.
