Into the Corn Once Again

Into Corn Edited June 2014This is the third piece I have made of this idea.  It started as an artist’s trading card, then I made one approximately 8″ X 10″ and now this one, which is 25″ X 21″.    The photograph is one I took of corn field and had it printed on fabric.  Fabric paint was used to add the girl, dog, shoes, socks.  Machine pieced, thread painted and quilted.  Small amount of hand embroidery.

Completed June 3, 2014

About QuiltToonist

I'm a news junkie and have opinions about everything! I consider myself a folk artist because I have no formal art training and use the sewing skills I learned many moons ago to accomplish the fiber art I seem to have to express.
