From A Rock Wall Grow Ferns

Ferns in Rocks Sept 2014 2Ferns grow from cracks all along the rock walls in the village of Mezel, France where I was fortunate to visit in August 2014.  I loved the way the ferns looked.  This QuiltToon was made by printing a photo of the ferns on fabric and then embellishing with beads on everything and adding a border.  The piece is 12″ X 8″.

It was completed in Sept. 2014.

About QuiltToonist

I'm a news junkie and have opinions about everything! I consider myself a folk artist because I have no formal art training and use the sewing skills I learned many moons ago to accomplish the fiber art I seem to have to express.
